There are a LOT of trucks to pick from. Finding the right one for me took a LOT of time. I was honestly getting tired of looking. After not finding much in Lancaster County that I liked taking into account price, year, mileage and features, I expanded my search to York County. That's when I found our truck at Zimmermans Auto. I also met Eric. He responded to my texts. He got me the additional information and pictures I requested without delay. When we met, I didn't know if the 'nice guy' thing was real, or a put on just to sell a vehicle. If 2020 taught Americans anything, it taught us to be less ready to trust someone just because they smiled and said the right things. Well, Eric was the 'real deal'. He was a salesman, yes, but we all have a job to do. We talked about price and we came to an agreement that worked for both of us. No pressure from him. No strong-arm tactics or slick words. Just two men, two Dads, and two men of faith having a business transaction. I took his word and he took mine. Just like it used to be back in the day. So, give Eric a call. We have older cars. Zimmerman's has always been able to service them in a timely matter. They also provide us with a loaner if necessary.

I sometimes jokingly say that I have Jay and Steve on speed dial because they are our "go to" people when we have trouble with our cars. This week was no exception when we found our Toyota van inoperable in below freezing weather. Jay immediately offered to come to tow it to the garage and quickly his mechanics found the problem, resolved it and then delivered it back to us. We appreciate the expertise but also the promptness of the service. Thank you again.
