Mechanicsburg Auto Repair and Dealership

We have been taking our cars to Zimmerman’s for 21+ years. They helped me keep my Suburban running well and comfortably for 7 of the 10 years we owned it and were living in PA and 330,000 miles. And they have kept my 2001 used Camry running for the 14 years I have had it—mileage now 256,000 miles. It seems like they have tried to save me money wherever possible, offering me options and telling me what they would do if it were their car, often recommending lower cost options. They have been considerate of my convenience and time as well. Their waiting room has delicious cookies and hot drinks or water, wholesome HGTV viewing, a table for paperwork or computing, and a well-stocked and appealing play area for children. The mechanics and receptionists have come to feel like family. We have had a great experience with them. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Steve in the repair department was FABULOUS! We live out of state and our daughter has our car in PA where she attends college. The hybrid battery had to be replaced and Steve was so honest and helpful! We really appreciate the staff at Zimmerman Auto!

Is this place perfect, no, but in my mind they are darn close. I have yet to encounter anyone with an attitude and everyone is smiling and going out of their way to help you. This visit things go out of hand for me and I couldn't get to the garage on time. I called them at the last minute to cancel my appointment and explained what had happened. They told me if I dropped the off they could still get the car finished and then really saved my busy day by providing me a loaner car. That was the best! Thanks
